Phase I
Phase II
Phase three of the Dark Tower sleeve. We were fortunate enough to complete this in back-to-back sessions across two days this past June. The subjects are the tarot cards drawn by the Man in Black during his palaver with Roland in the final chapters of The Gunslinger. The third of the trio, The Sailor, was also designed, but that will feature in phase four. I love how The Lady of Shadows turned out, as I was repeatedly having trouble compositing the two faces. There are a couple blank spaces at the wrist and up near the elbow that are going to bother me, but I think I know what to fill those with.

Absolutely love this. Love the designs that you did for these two. And I'm with you about the Lady of Shadows. It really came out splendidly with how you have the darker half in the shadows and bright red. Somehow I think even Detta Walker would approve. As for the Prisoner, I think it was a very apt use of the monkey standing behind the prisoner especially given Eddie Dean's small drug problem.
