...And?

Final project for a Color Concepts course. Based on "Norman Rockwell is Bleeding", a stand-up comedy special by the pride of dysfunctional families everywhere, Mr. Christopher Titus. This particular narrative illustrates one of my favorite bits from that show. The color emphasis here is on the "mood window" behind Titus' head; the colors changes throughout the comic represent his reactions in conjunction with his facial expressions. The project got me an A in that class.

In even better news, years ago Titus himself emailed me about the piece  to request a print of it, which he has hanging in his home! As a nice shiny epilogue to that story, I got to meet the man after he did a set at the Milwaukee Performing Arts Center in January 2016, where he signed a mini-print I brought along. He even showed it to his wife/opening act Rachel Bradley to confirm for her, "Hey, this is the guy!" The dude is as awesome in person as he is onstage.
