May 18th, 2009: Well, the date's come, and the show's been cancelled. Oh well.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles recently saw the finale of its second season. Rumor abounds as to whether it is also the series finale.

With the lifespan of primetime television shows constantly in flux, Terminator: TSCC has been under the spotlight for cancellation ever since Fox rather moved the show to Fridays after it was doing just fine on Mondays. They did this before with another highly enjoyable television show that ironically also starred the delectable Summer Glau: Firefly. At least Terminator lasted far longer than the two episodes of Firefly Fox graciously allowed to air before pulling the plug.

So what, as viewers, can we do about this? Tell Fox we want the show to stay. There are no guarantees that they'll listen, but saying nothing is the one guarantee that they won't.

If you give two shits about this show, and want to see what's going to happen after the unpredictable, table-turning season finale, and like me feel the last thing the airwaves need is another reality show, which inevitably will take Terminator's place should it be cancelled, make a statement.

The networks officially announce their fall lineups on May 18th. We have until then to tell the powers that be that we want more of the War on Skynet.
