Gunslinger Teaser

EDIT: Well, it ain't happening. They got a cease & desist order, so production had to shut down. What a pisser.

A filmmaker named Brett Bye contacted me recently to aid fundraising efforts for his upcoming short film project "Gunslinger", based on the first in Stephen King's Dark Tower series. A week of trial-and-error and random tinkering and other assorted Photoshoppery triumph led to this. I was limited in my resources - good photos of flying coat tails are harder to come by than you might think - but I think I did all right here. Text placement was tricky once I opened up that wall panel on the right to show off a little more of the desert, but the result gives it a kind of a hardcover jacket look, all punctuated nicely by that bullet hole.

Brett also supplied me with the script for the short, and I have to say it kicked serious ass. Best of luck to him in getting it made, 'cause I can't wait to see it in action.
